A decorated, retired Police Officer served his community of Jacksonville, Florida, for 32 brave years. His 32 years' experience in leadership with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has provided outstanding results of leadership and confidence.
David led the C.O.P.s. (Community Oriented Policing) program that assisted neighborhoods in high crime areas. Additionally, David was a School Resource Officer for High School's in Duval County. Leading and overseeing 3,500 students and faculty. David earned the respect of his superior's and was invited to design, structure and implement the T.A.R.S. program. (Tracking at Risk Students). This program helped direct students to life goals and supported them in their times of need.
David finished his career with a promotion in the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office to Homeland Security, D.A.R.T (Drug Abatement Response Team) team. This department was comprised of City and State law enforcement agencies.
David has 25 years' experience in coaching and mentoring as well. David has coached youth, middle school, and high school students while securing positions of head coaching, assistant coaching, and director of field/facility maintenance.

Mike Lanza is a life long lover of sports. Growing up he played Wiffle ball in the streets at night with his brother, sisters, and neighborhood friends as well as football, baseball, softball, basketball and track and field with various teams. In college, Mike earned two degrees in Exercise Science and Sports Administration and coached soccer, flag football, basketball and football upon graduation. Mike has served as President and Commissioner of serval different sports organizations, and has been team dad for volleyball, gymnastics, and 7v7 teams throughout his journey as a parent. These days he wears several different hats for Apex Elite, presently working with the 7v7 travel teams and supporting operations within the organization. Apex appreciates Mike for his passion and dedication to developing young people in the game of football and in life.
